Please note:
- You do not need to provide proof of
citizenship if you are already registered to vote.
- You do not need to provide proof of citizenship
if you move within your county (for example, you move from Glendale to
Avondale).
New Voter
Registration Requirements - Evidence of United States citizenship includes
one of the following:
- An Arizona driver’s license number or
non-operating identification license number issued after October 1, 1996.
- A legible photocopy of a driver’s
license or non-operating identification license issued by another state
that identifies United
States citizenship on the license.
- A legible photocopy of your birth
certificate that verifies citizenship.
- A legible photocopy of your of the
pertinent pages of your United
States passport.
- United
States naturalization certificate number.
- A Bureau of Indian Affair’s Card
Number, Tribal Treaty Card Number, or Tribal Enrollment Number.
Do not send originals; send only legible photocopies of your
documents.

register on-line if you have an Arizona
driver’s license number or non-operating identification care issued after
October 1, 1996.
